1) Dinner Rolls
Ingredients
• Flour – 3 cups
• Warm water – 1 cup
• Butter – 4 tbsp
• Yeast – 2¼ tsp
• Sugar – 2 tbsp
• Salt – 1 tsp
Instructions
- Mix warm water, sugar and yeast. Let it foam for 5 minutes.
- Add flour, salt and melted butter. Knead into a soft dough.
- Cover and let rise for 1 hour until doubled.
- Shape into balls and place in a greased pan.
- Bake for 18–22 minutes until golden.
2) Cinnamon Rolls
Ingredients
• Flour – 2½ cups
• Warm milk – ¾ cup
• Butter – ¼ cup (melted)
• Yeast – 2¼ tsp
• Sugar – ¼ cup
• Brown sugar – ½ cup
• Cinnamon – 2 tsp
Instructions
- Mix milk, sugar and yeast. Let activate 5 minutes.
- Add flour and butter, knead into dough. Let rise 1 hour.
- Roll dough flat, spread butter, sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll up tightly and slice.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes. Ice if desired.
3) Garlic Bread Rolls
Ingredients
• Flour – 3 cups
• Warm water – 1 cup
• Yeast – 2¼ tsp
• Butter – 4 tbsp
• Garlic – 3 cloves (minced)
• Parsley, Salt
Instructions
- Prepare dough same as dinner rolls and let rise.
- Mix butter with garlic and parsley.
- Shape dough into balls and brush with garlic butter.
- Bake 20 minutes until golden and fragrant.
4) Sausage Rolls
Ingredients
• Puff pastry – 1 sheet
• Sausages – 8
• Egg – 1 (for wash)
• Sesame seeds – optional
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200°C / 400°F.
- Cut pastry into strips, wrap around sausages.
- Brush with egg wash and sprinkle seeds.
- Bake 20–25 minutes until puffed and golden.
5) Spring Rolls
Ingredients
• Spring roll wrappers
• Shredded cabbage & carrot
• Cooked vermicelli noodles
• Soy sauce
• Oil for frying
Instructions
- Mix vegetables, noodles and soy sauce.
- Place filling on wrapper and roll tightly.
- Deep fry in hot oil until golden.
- Drain and serve hot with sauce.
6) Chicken Pinwheel Rolls
Ingredients
• Dough or puff pastry
• Cooked shredded chicken
• Onion (chopped)
• Spices or sauce
Instructions
- Roll dough into a rectangle.
- Spread chicken mixture evenly over it.
- Roll tightly and slice into pinwheels.
- Bake at 180°C for 25 minutes until golden.
