INGREDIENTS

  1. Pizza Dough
    1 cup warm water, 80 to 90°F
    2 teaspoons sugar
    2 teaspoons active dry yeast
    3 cups flour, plus more for dusting
    ½ tablespoon salt
    1 tablespoon olive oil
    ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  2. Pie Crust
    1 ½ cups all-purpose flour, plus additional for dusting the work surface for rolling out the dough
    ½ cup unsalted butter, very cold and cubed
    2 teaspoons granulated sugar
    ¼ teaspoon salt
    4 to 6 tablespoons ice water (start with 4 tablespoons water then add more, one tablespoon at a time, if needed)
  3. Buttermilk Biscuits
    2½ cups all-purpose flour
    1 teaspoon salt
    2 tablespoons baking powder
    ½ teaspoon baking soda
    2 teaspoons granulated sugar
    ½ cup salted butter, cold and cut into pieces
    1 cup buttermilk, plus 1 to 2 tablespoons more for brushing the tops

    Vegetable oil, about 1 inch deep
    ¼ cup granulated sugar
    1 teaspoon cinnamon
    ¼ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice, optional
