1️⃣Soft Homemade Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients

Dough
1 cup warm milk
2¼ tsp active dry yeast
¼ cup sugar
1 egg + 1 egg yolk
¼ cup melted butter
3½ cups all-purpose flour
¾ tsp salt

Filling
½ cup brown sugar
2 tbsp cinnamon
¼ cup softened butter

Cream Cheese Glaze
4 oz cream cheese, softened
2 tbsp butter
¾ cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1–2 tbsp milk

Instructions

  1. Mix warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Rest 5–10 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add eggs, butter, flour, and salt. Knead until soft and smooth.
  3. Cover and rise 1 hour (until doubled).
  4. Roll dough into a rectangle. Spread butter; sprinkle sugar + cinnamon.
  5. Roll tightly and slice into 9–12 rolls.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 22–25 minutes.
  7. Mix glaze ingredients and spread over warm rolls.

Ingredients

Dough
1 cup warm milk
2¼ tsp active dry yeast
2 tbsp sugar
1 egg
¼ cup melted butter
3½ cups all-purpose flour
¾ tsp salt

Garlic Butter
4 tbsp butter, melted
3–4 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp chopped parsley
¼ tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Mix warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Rest 5–10 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add egg, butter, flour, and salt. Knead until soft and smooth.
  3. Cover and rise 1 hour until doubled.
  4. Shape into 12 rolls and place in a greased pan.
  5. Rise again 30 minutes.

1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp cornstarch

Cinnamon Sugar
¼ cup brown sugar
1½ tsp cinnamon
¼ cup softened butter

Cream Cheese Glaze
4 oz cream cheese, softened
2 tbsp butter
¾ cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1–2 tbsp milk

  1. Apple filling: Cook apples, butter, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice, and cornstarch over medium heat until soft and thick. Cool.

3½ cups all-purpose flour
¾ tsp salt

Strawberry Filling
1½ cups fresh strawberries, finely diced
¼ cup granulated sugar
1 tsp cornstarch
1 tsp lemon juice
½ tsp vanilla extract

Cook together over medium heat 5–7 minutes until thick. Cool completely.

Cream Cheese Filling
4 oz cream cheese, softened
¼ cup powdered sugar
½ tsp vanilla extract

Vanilla Glaze
1 cup powdered sugar
2–3 tbsp milk or cream
½ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Activate yeast
    Mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let foam 5–10 minutes.
  2. Make dough
    Add egg, egg yolk, butter, salt, and flour. Knead until soft and slightly tacky (8–10 min).
  3. First rise
    Place in greased bowl, cover, and rise 1–1½ hours until doubled.
  4. Prepare filling
    Roll dough into a 12×18-inch rectangle.
    Spread cream cheese filling evenly, then strawberry filling on top.
  5. Roll & cut
    Roll tightly from long side. Cut into 12 rolls.
  6. Second rise
    Arrange in greased 9×13 pan. Cover and rise 30–45 minutes.
  7. Bake
    Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25–30 minutes, until lightly golden.
  8. Glaze
    Drizzle glaze over warm rolls. Let set 5 minutes before serving.
