🍀 Shamrock Pretzels

These adorable Shamrock Pretzels are sweet, salty, crunchy, and incredibly easy to make. With just a few simple ingredients, you can create cute little clover-shaped treats that everyone will love!

Perfect for classroom parties, bake sales, or fun family kitchen time.

📝 Ingredients

  • Mini pretzel twists (the classic 3-hole shape)
  • Green candy melts (or white chocolate + green food coloring)
  • Green M&M’s or chocolate candies
  • Green sprinkles (optional)

🥣 Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Microwave-safe bowl
  • Spoon or piping bag

👩‍🍳 Step-by-Step Instructions

1️⃣ Arrange the Pretzels

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Place three mini pretzel twists in a clover shape so the rounded sides touch in the center. This forms the three leaves of the shamrock.

Tip: Leave a little space between each shamrock for easy decorating.

2️⃣ Melt the Candy

In a microwave-safe bowl:

  • Heat green candy melts in 20–30 second intervals.
  • Stir between each interval until smooth.

If using white chocolate, melt first, then stir in green food coloring.

3️⃣ Create the Shamrock Center

  • Spoon or pipe a small amount of melted candy into the center where the pretzels touch.
  • Place a green M&M in the middle to secure the shape.
  • The melted candy acts like glue to hold everything together.

4️⃣ Add Decorations

  • Sprinkle with green sprinkles before the chocolate sets.
  • You can also drizzle extra melted candy over the top for a decorative finish.

5️⃣ Let Set

Allow pretzels to set at room temperature for 30–45 minutes,
or refrigerate for 10–15 minutes until firm.

🍀 Optional: Add a Stem

Use:

  • A small pretzel stick
  • Or pipe a small line of melted candy

Attach it to one side to create a full four-leaf look.

🎉 Storage

  • Store in an airtight container.
  • Keep at room temperature for up to 1 week.
  • Avoid warm areas so the candy doesn’t soften.
