🧾 Ingredients

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 to 2½ cups powdered sugar
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil (or vegetable oil)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Make the Peanut Butter Filling

In a mixing bowl, combine:

  • Peanut butter
  • Softened butter
  • Vanilla extract

Mix until smooth and creamy.

2. Add Powdered Sugar

Gradually add powdered sugar, mixing well until a thick dough forms.
👉 The mixture should be soft but firm enough to shape.

3. Shape the Eggs

  • Scoop about 1–2 tablespoons of dough
  • Roll into balls, then gently flatten into egg shapes
  • Place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper

Put in the freezer for 20–30 minutes to firm up.

4. Melt the Chocolate

In a microwave-safe bowl:

  • Combine chocolate chips and coconut oil
  • Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring each time, until smooth

5. Dip the Eggs

  • Use a fork or toothpick to dip each peanut butter egg into melted chocolate
  • Let excess chocolate drip off
  • Place back onto parchment paper

6. Set the Chocolate

  • Refrigerate for about 20 minutes or until the chocolate hardens

✨ Optional Tips

  • Drizzle extra melted chocolate on top for decoration
  • Add a pinch of salt to the filling for a sweet-salty twist
  • Use dark chocolate for a richer flavor

  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week
  • Can also be frozen for up to 2 months
