Bay Leaves, Clove, and Rosemary: If only I had known this sooner

Natural hair care is becoming increasingly popular, and for good reason! It deeply nourishes hair without the use of harsh chemicals. Today, we’re sharing a homemade recipe made with natural ingredients to restore your hair’s natural shine, fullness, and volume. This recipe uses ingredients like cloves, bay leaves, and rosemary, which are known for their hair-boosting benefits.


Ingredients :

  • 2 tablespoons of cloves  : Cloves add shine to hair, help restore natural density and protect against pigment loss.
  • 5 Bay Leaves  : Rich in essential oils, tannins, manganese and iron, bay leaves stimulate scalp and hair growth.
  • 2-4 sprigs of rosemary  (or 2 tablespoons of dried rosemary): Rosemary helps eliminate dandruff, has an antibacterial effect, adds volume and shine to curls.
  • 400 ml of water  : To prepare the decoction.

Preparation :

  1. Boil the ingredients  : In a saucepan, add the cloves, bay leaves, rosemary, and water. Bring to a boil over low heat until the water turns a dark color.
  2. Strain the mixture  : Once cooled, filter the decoction through a fine sieve or cheesecloth.
  3. Apply to hair  : Gently massage the mixture into your scalp and distribute it through your hair. Leave on for 30 minutes.
  4. Rinse  : Shampoo your hair as usual to remove the mixture.

Result :

This natural recipe will reveal the volume, natural color, and shine of your hair. It also strengthens it, making it healthier and more resilient. Use this treatment twice a week for optimal results.


Bonus: Another Quick Recipe

For a faster version, mix:

  • 1 tablespoon of cloves.
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper.
  • 3-5 bay leaves.
  • 200 ml of hot water.

Let it steep for 1 hour, then add 2 tablespoons of your usual shampoo. Apply to the roots and massage. Rinse after 30 minutes.
