Burger Buns Recipe
Ingredients:
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
2 tsp instant yeast
2 tbsp butter (softened)
¾ cup warm milk
1 large egg
Sesame seeds for topping
Instructions:
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
- Add warm milk, egg, and butter. Knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Cover and let rise for 1–2 hours, until doubled in size.
- Divide into equal portions, shape into balls, and place on a baking tray.
- Proof again for 30–40 minutes.
- Brush tops with milk (or egg wash) and sprinkle sesame seeds.
- Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 18–20 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool on a wire rack before slicing.
